Brighton & Hove Mini Tournament at the University of Brighton Sports Centre, Village Way, Falmer, Brighton, BN1 9PH on Saturday 8th December 2018.
The competition is open to Colour Belts (Black Stripe to Black Tags) under 13 years of age.
We will have Patterns, Sparring and Special Technique Events.
Please take the time to read the following information –
The competition will be run in accordance with ITF competition rules with a few exceptions.
All competitors must wear an ITF Taekwon-Do Dobok.
Protection Equipment Requirements
The following equipment is mandatory for each age category, otherwise competitors will not be able to take part:
Under 13’s
Head Guard
Mouth Guard
Closed fingered gloves
Groin guard (Male)
Shin Guards
Feet pads
Weigh-in/Registration
Please ensure the entrant is measure correctly and entered in the correct height division as this will make registration run smoothly and faster on the day.
All competitors should register at the following times:
9.30am – 9.45am All white belts, yellow belts and green belts up to blue tag
1.30pm – 1.45pm All blue and red belts
Coach Requirements
As this is a Brighton & Hove children’s friendly tournament I am encouraging where possible parents to get involved with coaching at the tournament. There will be no official coaches available for competitors.
All entry forms must be completed and returned with payment before 4th December
Please ensure you enter your child with the correctly measured height.
