Taekwon-Do 2024 Under 16’s Mini Tournament
Brighton & Hove Taekwon-Do Mini Tournament
This will be held at St Georges Hall, Court Farm Road, Hove
Saturday 7th December 2024
Registration: 12.45 pm
Start time: 1 pm
The competition is open to all students (9th kup) black stripes and above under 16 years of age.
We will have Patterns, Sparring, Special Technique and an event for Slow Side Kick.
Please take the time to read the following information –
The competition will be run in accordance with ITF competition rules with a few exceptions.
All competitors must wear an ITF Taekwon-Do Dobok. Competitors will compete bare foot.
For sparring all competitors must wear:
hand and foot guards
shin pads
head guards
gum shields
groin guards (male only).
Slow Side Kick Event
The Slow Side Kick Event. We will run this in a similar way to patterns as a knockout tournament. As with special technique there will only be Gold medals for the winner of each grade category.
Registration:
Please ensure the entrant is measured correctly and entered in the correct height division as this will make registration run smoothly and faster on the day.
All competitors should register at the following times:
12.45 pm
Online registration only, payment to be made through bank transfer. It is important to make payment at the time you register your child.
